We are so excited to see what 2020 has in store for the memorial. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported the memorial in 2019. Thank you to the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund for their continued support! Pictured below is the check that they presented to us this year to complete the berm and native plant garden. The memorial is nearly complete, and we hope to have our grand opening this spring.

The panels are up at the port! This was by far the most tedious, time-intensive part of the project because they needed to be just right. We are so grateful for WOW Arts and Exhibits's beautiful design! More updates coming soon; we are entering the final phases of this project.

We are holding a RAFFLE FUNDRAISER all through the month of July! Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5 and all proceeds will go to finishing the statue of Lucy Dick and bringing her home to Brookings. Be sure to check out the list of prizes and look for our ticket booth at the Southern Oregon Kite Festival (July 21-22) if you will be in the Brookings area!

We are currently raising funds to complete the statue of Lucy Dick. Lucy lived to be nearly 100 years old and saw many changes in the Brookings area during her lifetime, including the arrival of the first white settlers to the area, her family's removal to the Siletz Reservation in 1856, and the founding of Brookings and Harbor. Consider helping us complete the statue by making a donation. Visit our Go Fund Me page for more info! https://www.gofundme.com/chetcoindianmemorial

We were recently selected to receive a $14,700 grant from the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund. We are so excited to be this much closer to completing the memorial! Thank you for your continued support!
